We like you and wanted to do something special to show you. So, we are having a pre-release bottle release in the Taproom. Yeah, you’re welcome.
We will be bringing in the bottles of Tuco-Style Freakout and Stupid Man Suit to the taproom for you. These flavors are set to hit markets April 1st and we wanted to have a little party to release them early. So, we are doing just that in the taproom Tuesday, March 29th. Come get your fill of these *NEW* bottles before everyone else.
Tuco-Style Freakout (aka Agave Lime Mead) was just inspired by the need for a lighter carbonated version of the margarita we made years ago. With the Mexican/southwest ingredients inspired by the margarita, it seemed appropriate to create a label based on everyone’s favorite southwest-set show, Breaking Bad. Tuco was an unforgettable character, and while he may have been erratic, this mead is nothin’ but tight, tight, tight!
Stupid Man Suit (aka Dark Fruit Cider) this label was inspired by the film Donnie Darko. It was an obvious jump from ‘Dark’ to ‘Darko’ but an image of a creepy bunny found online was what really sparkle motioned the idea. The name comes from one of my favorite lines in the movie when Donnie asks, “Why are you wearing that stupid bunny suit?” To which Frank replies, “Why are you wearing that stupid man suit?”.
Stupid Man Suit was part of a whole series of ciders we have been doing with all different fruits. This is really the first one that we tried combinations of fruit that combine to make its own unique flavor. It’s goal was to show how complex our ciders can become.
